Privacy Policy

The short version
Skylight doesn't collect, sell or share your personal data. Your screen, sound, files, clipboard and keystrokes go directly between your own devices, end-to-end encrypted. We run no servers that can see them.
What stays on your devices
- Saved computers, connection passwords (in the Keychain), settings and preview thumbnails.
- Files you transfer, saved in Downloads on a Mac, or in Skylight's Received folder on iPhone and iPad.
Services Skylight uses
- Tailscale provides Private Connection, which links your devices over the internet. If you sign in to it, Tailscale handles your account and device list under its privacy policy. Session content stays encrypted end to end.
- Polar sells website subscriptions as the merchant of record. When you buy or activate a license, Polar processes your email, payment and billing details, and the name of each computer you activate, under its privacy policy.
- Apple handles App Store subscriptions. We see no payment details. Skylight checks Apple's signed receipt on your devices.
Analytics and tracking
None. Skylight contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
